Our Pilgrimage

On this retreat we will practice yoga, meditation, chant and pranayama - the usual things.

BUT we will also take our practice to very special places.

Ancient places, full of the energy of past and present yogis. We visit 6 in total:

• Kopan Monastery

• Swayambhunath

• Buddha Par

• Pharping

• Namo Buddha

• Boudhanath

Accommodation

We will be staying at the luxurious Namo Buddha Resort, built in the traditional Newari style, with views of the Himalayas.

Our meals will be prepared using local produce, some of which is organically grown at the resort.

• Large Cottage 4 Share - $3700pp

• Medium Cottage 2 Share - $3450pp

• Small Cottage Single - $3200pp

Prices include all meals, classes, day trips, 12 nights accommodation.

Does not include airfaire ($1400*), insurance ($220*), taxi from/to Kathmandu airport ($20*), tourist visa ($45*), general spending money, food outside designated meals. (* estimated price.)

Your Teacher

Sanjay has been leading retreats since 2006. He has travelled to Nepal many times for personal practice, and spent approximately 8 months in retreat and study at Kopan Monastery. His knowledge and experience in Mahayana Buddhist teachings and the physical yoga practices makes him a unique spiritual Nepal guide.
