On May the 1st, 2021, SPEED will begin life reincarnate as a Melbourne-based event-series and party with a strong focus in honouring and exploring all that is Hard, Heavy and Fast in the local and international dance music communities. A melting pot of genres, not in favour of one or the other, rather a celebration of high energy and high BPM dance music and of the act of dance itself. Join our smorgasbord of speedy DJ with a penchant for speed underground in the Sub Club basement, with its 10,000 watt sound system as we start fast and only go faster, while pushing the health benefits and positive elements of rave culture, dance music and dance to its threshold.From the mind of Taiwanese DJ and artist Cloudy Ku (HER他), SPEED is an experiment and new study on dance music and rave culture and its positive aspects and health benefits. Disability: Sub club is down two flights of stairs, however wheelchair entry is available via elevators at the request of security.
