Join us for a rare and inspiring opportunity to meet internationally recognised humanitarian and medical doctor, Dr Cynthia Maung.

For more than 35 years, Dr Maung has dedicated her life to providing essential healthcare, education and protection to refugees, migrant workers and internally displaced communities along the Thailand-Myanmar border. She founded the Mae Tao Clinic in 1989 after fleeing the pro‑democracy uprising in Myanmar, transforming a small, makeshift space into a critical health centre serving tens of thousands each year.
