Space Camp - Junior Program

It's Rocket Science Adventures allow children to explore the wonders of aviation, aerospace and rocket science in a safe and spectacular educational environment!  Our fully facilitated programs will create an infectiously fun and engaging experience for all ages and abilities, where curious kids are engaged with learning and go away with huge smiles. Experiment-based STEM programs tick all the boxes: safety and risk assessment, connection to the Australian Curriculum and engagement with learners with special needs.

<H3 CLASS="MsoNoSpacing">Calling all budding scientists, astronauts and space fanatics. </H3>
Connecting curiosity and imagination with interactive learning experiences, be a rocket scientist these school holidays and discover the wonders of rockets, flight and space technology. 
 It’s Rocket Science Adventures offers spectacularly fun project-based STEM investigations to introduce children to the basics of rocketry design, structures, propulsion and flight principles through engineering design projects and challenges. Our junior and advanced programs explore STEM based concepts, suitable for children 8-15 years, where they will design, build and test their own inventions, including our popular project to build and control the launch of your very own water propelled rockets to altitudes over 60 metres high … all from a simple soda bottle!
And launch a chemcial fuelled model rocket over 200 metres...

<LI>Online bookings are essential as places are limited.</LI>
<LI>Facilitators have Blue Cards.</LI>
<LI>First Aid kit on site.</LI>
<LI>Outdoor play area for outdoor breaks.</LI>
<LI>Parents are welcome to check out our pop-up store at drop off and pick up.</LI>
<LI>Children will need to bring a nut-free packed lunch, water bottle, closed in shoes, sunscreen and a hat.</LI>
<LI>All children will need to be signed in at the beginning of each day, and signed out on collection.</LI>
<LI>We advocate inclusive participation, so please let staff know of any special needs prior to the event. </LI>
