The South Australian AgTech Strategic Plan is a key enabler to reaching the state’s ambitious growth agenda and supports the Food, Wine and Agribusiness Sector Plan. It has been developed by the AgTech Advisory Group whose role is to advise government on ways to accelerate the uptake of AgTech on-farm.
Consultation on the Strategic Plan was undertaken with stakeholders to understand the opportunities and barriers to adoption of AgTech in South Australia. The recommendations in the Plan include the need to have a collaborative and cohesive approach to encourage greater adoption of technology on-farm in South Australia.
Speakers will include the Hon David Basham MP as well as Chair of the AgTech Advisory Group, Dr Leanna Read. You will be introduced to some of the initiatives underway as well as those due for implementation.
The launch will include a dedicated Q&A session with members of the AgTech Advisory Group and industry stakeholders.
