SOURDOUGH PASTA

Did you know that sourdough doesn't just apply to breads? In fact, many cooked or leavened grain-based products can use fermented flours as a base...including pasta!!

In this 1.5 hour demonstration, dietitians Kali & Bek will show you how to:

  • Create your own starter culture at home using spelt & rye flour,
  • Incorporate fermented food into a classic Italian dish...pasta!
  • Make easy lasagne sheets without a pasta machine or fancy kitchen equipment,
  • Save time making pasta at home; it need not take hours!

As dietitians, we'll also be covering some key gut health tips & a delicious creamy lemon thyme ricotta filling..YUM!!

WHEN: Wednesday 23rd August
