What happens if my child does not lay down

Your child will be encouraged by example to remain quiet and relax into a laying position for the soundbath after an introduction.If your child is struggling to remain on their mat we have other mindfulness activities they can quietly participate in so as to still feel the effects but not disturb.

What if my child cannot stay quite

Children will be made aware that this is a non speaking activity and gently reminded,if it becomes an issue that cannot be resolved and begins to disturb the experience for others, the child will be escorted out of the session and will remain at a supervised area while a parent is called to collect.

What to expect after a soundbath

This sensation may feel like emotional sensitivity, heightened state of awareness,tirenedess or even a slight disorientation as you return to your usual environment. These sessions are to encourage independent use of mindfulness and meditation so it is best if you do not stay, it could also be unsettling for others, but if you need to be present to silently guide your child’s behaviour as they first adjust, feel free, check our regular Parent/Child sessions also
