SOUND MEDICINE - Sound Healing Journey

SOUND MEDICINE - Sound Healing Journey

Overview

A journey with the medicine of ancestral sounds. An immersive ritualistic experience to harmonise the body, the mind and the spirit.

I am grateful to invite you to this deep, immersive experience that aims to restore harmony in our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies through the medicine of ancestral sounds. Sound Medicine is a ritualistic space woven by the subtle and sensitive use of silence and ancestral instruments.

My name is Marco, and offering this work is, at its core, an act of gratitude—towards what has been inspiring this healing practice over time, and towards all those who have been supporting and trusting this space.

I want to acknowledge and thank the numerous encounters over the years that have inspired and nourished this healing work. My journey into sound healing began when I first encountered a Yidaki (called Didgeridoo in English), and later, two teachers of Aboriginal heritage who offered wisdom about the use of sound for ritualistic and healing purposes.

Later along the path, other remarkable encounters happened—with teachers connected to pre-Hispanic traditions of present-day Peru. This led me to explore the sounds and healing frequencies of ancient civilizations that once stretched across what is now Lima and the central coast, Cusco, and the Urubamba Valley (Sacred Valley).

The richness of these experiences continues to inspire my ongoing research and this work of healing. I extend deep gratitude to maestro Tito La Rosa, and to dear friends and teachers Omar La Rosa and Alfredo Walter Navarro.

You are invited to participate in a Sound Healing inspired by Nature and its elements, by the spontaneity of each moment, and by the presence of those who will co-create this healing container.

You will engage in a healing practice that aims to reduce the volume of internal noise, allowing us to return to internal silence—that silence in which Sound, like our vital energy, regenerates.

This work helps us move towards higher states of consciousness through sound healing frequencies that bring coherence—or resonance—between brain waves, heart rate, nervous system, and breathing patterns, as well as aspects of mind and self.

In fact, sound in a therapeutic environment facilitates healing on a physiological, mental, and emotional level by stimulating neuroplasticity—allowing us to overwrite thoughts, attitudes, and interactions. Neuroplasticity can manifest in our Sound Medicine circles as a dreamlike state of awareness that may bring the perception of a timeless experience.

This fluid space has the potential to facilitate a long-yearned connection with deeper emotional content that has been proven to influence our physical and mental health.

You will experience:

A warm welcome, followed by an initial cleansing and grounding practice to facilitate connection with the present moment, with the land and its supportive energies, as well as with our internal processes and intentions.

Introduction to the practice of sound healing with indications on how best navigate the journey.

Integration through silence, with guidance on how to best navigate the days following the practice

Anthony Zappia

I've been to Marco three times now and each visit has been a powerful and highly energetic experience. He used a combination of sound therapy (didgeridoo, rattles and music) and breath-work which allows the body to restore itself to its proper balance or foundations. And Marco is such a nice guy that he puts you at ease. This allows you to put your trust in the whole process and allow things to happen, without our 'monkey-minds' getting in the way. Definitely looking forward to my fourth visit. Thank you Marco.

About Me:

Marco Tesi is a facilitator of healing by helping people to integrate physical sensations and symptoms, emotions and feelings, repressed memories and repeated unconscious patterns in the wholeness of their being.

In 2013 he obtained a master’s degree in “Adapted and Preventive Motor Activities”. After years helping people who were facing chronic pain conditions his curiosity led him to explore and work in the field of psychosomatics, to deepen the existing communication between body, emotions, psyche, breath and traumatic memories.

Marco started to research, explore and work in the relationship between posture, breathing patterns and chronic pain 15 years ago. A school that now looking back offered him the foundations to research the imprinting of emotional trauma on a biological cellular level. Now this has become his healing practice and major area of investigation.
Marco is qualified in Integrative Breathing Therapies (2018) as well as in postural respiration and myiokinematic restoration with the Postural Restoration Institute (2016). Along that in 2022 he completed his training as Massage Partitioner with the Medicine Wheel centre.

The major pivotal change in his work happened around 2019 when he started to explore Sound for healing purposes. The journey got initiated by encountering an Yidaki (musical instrument called Didgeridoo in English language) and two major teachers of aboriginal heritage who offer thoughts and wisdom in relation to the use of sound for ritualistic and healing purposes.

Later on along the path other profound encounters happened, like the ones with teachers connected to pre-hispanic traditions of the nowadays known area of Peru. This lead him to explore the sounds and the healing frequencies of ancient civilisations that once upon a time stretched in the today known area of Lima and the central coast of Peru, Cuzco and the valley of Urubamba (Sacred valley).

This exploration and the richness of experiences that still at today keep inspiring his ongoing researches and ulitmately this work of healing have to thank the meetings with maestro Tito La Rosa and other dear friends and teachers like Omar La Rosa and Alfredo Walter Navarro.

Nowadays Sound is central to his work of Somatic Emotional healing. A therapeutic multidisciplinary practice that merge neuroscience with ancient traditional practices.
