Kelly Ottaway : Alloys from afar
Through the gentle and subtle timbres of the digitally processed vibraphone, allow the soothing sonorities of a ‘sound bath’ take you to far reaching edges of the cosmos in your mind.
Hailing from Hobart, Kelly is known as a master musician, composer and conductor. Here he experiments with one of his favourite instuments, the vibraphone, electrofying it and looping it, all against a backdrop of images to immerse you completely in Sound in Space.

Hive’s Planetarium is literally a sound and visual shell that enwraps you in the cosmos. The full dome will be brought to life as an intimate performance space for music and stories against a backdrop of scenes of space and art. Sound in Space is an experience not to be missed.
