We are excited to offer our NDIS Cooking Group at Sorelle Support Services, a welcoming and inclusive group designed for NDIS participants.
About the Group
Our Cooking Group is all about learning practical kitchen skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. Participants are guided step by step as they explore cooking from scratch, nutrition basics, and everyday skills that support greater independence.
The program is designed by our in-house chef, Chef Grace, and delivered by an experienced group facilitator. Chef Grace brings a calm, encouraging approach and a love of simple, nourishing food that participants can confidently recreate at home.
Participants will learn:
- Basic cooking techniques
- Meal planning and simple food prep
- Safe food handling
- Grocery awareness
- Healthy meal choices and portion sizes
- How to adapt recipes for dietary needs
No prior cooking experience is needed. Activities are tailored to individual abilities, preferences, and goals.
Please note: This group is for NDIS participants only. Registering for a free ticket is an expression of interest and does not confirm enrolment. Our team will contact you directly to confirm eligibility, funding, and provide the address once approved.
More Than Just Cooking
Beyond the kitchen skills, the group encourages connection and confidence. Participants cook together, share stories, support one another, and enjoy the meal they have created as a group. Leftover portions can be taken home to enjoy later.
Important Information
- Enrolment is not confirmed until Sorelle Support Services has contacted you directly
- Please advise us of any food allergies or intolerances at the time of enquiry
If you have any questions or would like to express interest, we would love to hear from you.
This group reflects our commitment to nurturing self-belief, building skills, and supporting participants to take meaningful steps toward independence through shared experiences and everyday learning.
