Songbird
Join me for my launch! Recycled guitar strings, feathers, birds and the human form are all part of this quirky exhibition (4.2.26 - 15.3.26)
Derryth Nash is an emerging artist and singer/song writer whose work blends her love of music with her deep connection to nature.
Her modern acrylic paintings reimagine birds through bold colour and rhythmic composition, capturing the movement and musicality she finds in nature, or depict her love of the human form
revealing organic shapes, shifting light, and subtle gestures. Guided by a distinctive style that balances softness with strength, Derryth’s canvases invite viewers into moments of stillness and connection.
In her upcoming exhibition, she expands her practice into three dimensions with a series of intimate sculptures crafted from recycled guitar strings, feathers and other materials. This work also captures her passion for sustainability and explores themes of home, fragility, and resilience in her nest‑like forms.
Together, her work offers a unified vision of nature reimagined through her thoughtful, contemporary lens.
