Being confident when selecting, cellaring, talking about, and getting the maximum enjoyment out of wines from all over the world is an important skill and strategy - whether it's in your own career in wine, or when impressing colleages, clients, and friends.
Our talented sommelier, Antony Anderson (WSET4), will guide you on a oenological journey around Australia and the world, with cellared wines that are drinking perfectly now and will surely delight, and perhaps even challenge you. Coupled with blind tastings, interesting wine facts, and stories from his wine travels, this event is perfect for those studying wine, wanting to get into the wine industry, or just looking to expand your wine knowledge and become more 'wine confident' through small group tuition.
Located at Tribeca Arcade on Victoria Parade, our cosy venue in Melbourne's old historic cellar c.1854 provides the perfect setting for this in-person event which also includes a selection of tapas dishes to sate your appetite.

The menu is gluten free and coeliac-safe with vegan and vegetarian options. If you have other dietary requirements, please SMS us on 0416 088 000 a minimum of 24 hours before the event so we can accommodate your needs.
Our events are restricted to small groups to maximise the interaction in our small, intimate venue. Generally, no additional tickets can be provided than are listed.
Life's Too Short is located in the middle of the Tribeca Plaza near the IGA, at the intersection of Wellington St and 412 Victoria Parade, or enter from 166 Albert St (past Kellee Flowers).
By tram 12 or 109, stop 16 - Wellington St (2 minute walk). By train the closes stations are Jolimont (13 minute walk) or North Richmond (10 minute walk)
If you drive and/or have a designated driver, parking is available on the street or at Care Park at 162 Albert Street, East Melbourne. Free parking may be available at 3 Cambridge Street, Collingwood (the car park is between owners and not gated; please check the signs before parking)
If a minimum of 4 tickets are not sold, the event may be rescheduled later or cancelled and tickets refunded. If you have booked a ticket and an event is amended we will contact you to make arrangements before the event.
