Queensland Small Business Month (QSBM) celebrates our small businesses and the vital contribution they make to Queensland's economy and to our communities across the state. With more than 473,000 small businesses in Queensland, they account for 97% of the business sector, contributing around $117 billion to the state's economy.
Somerset Regional Council, as a member of the Small Business Friendly Councils is hosting a business breakfast event to be held on Wednesday, 15 May 2024, from 7am at the Somerset Civic Centre with an open invitation to the business community of the region.
The morning's formalities will focis on 'Small Business Success' including guest speaker John Lazarou, Director - The Coffee Club.
Business owners are encouraged to meet industry and government department representatives, network with like-minded people and discover business resilience support initiatives.
A light breakfast will be provided.
