Somatic Ecstatic

Somatic Ecstatic

Overview

Embodied Dance Journey

SOMATIC ECSTATIC

Somatic — from the Greek soma, the living body experienced from within.

Ecstatic — from the Greek ekstasis, to stand outside the ordinary self; a state of presence, aliveness, and liberation.

Together, Somatic Ecstatic is a journey from within—an invitation to connect, explore, play, and move in harmony with the wisdom of the body. Guided by breath, sensation, and intuition, we move freely and in our own time, allowing expression to arise naturally and authentically.

This is a space to play, to soften, to awaken curiosity, and to let the body speak its own language—honouring what longs to be expressed, released, celebrated, or transformed.

As we dance, we immerse ourselves in the sensation of ecstasy—not as something outside ourselves, but as a state of presence, aliveness, and liberation.

And as the dance slows down, we melt into stillness, resting in the sweetness of liberation, surrender, and the gentle art of letting go.

What to Expect

Arrival & Somatic Drop In
Maria will gently guide you into the experience with grounding somatic movement, inviting you to slow down, connect with your breath, awaken your senses, and arrive fully in your body.

Embodied Dance Journey
From this place of presence, we transition into an intuitive ecstatic dance journey. There are no steps to follow or choreography to learn—simply an invitation to move freely, in your own way and in your own time. Explore, play, release, celebrate, and allow your body to express whatever is ready to move.

Stillness & Integration
As the music softens and the dance comes to a close, we melt into stillness. Guided meditation offers a sacred pause to receive, recalibrate, integrate, and rest in the sweetness of liberation, surrender, and the gentle art of letting go.

Live Soundscape
The journey is held by a live DJ set from Glen, intuitively weaving an immersive soundscape that supports every stage of the experience—from grounding and awakening, through expression and ecstasy, into stillness and integration.
