Special Olympics Australia – Queensland and Football Queensland are proud to deliver a free, practical workshop for coaches, aspiring coaches, and support staff who want to better support athletes with intellectual disability and/or autism.

No prior knowledge or experience is required. This workshop is designed to be accessible, open, and interactive, with the simple goal of ensuring everyone leaves with practical tools they can immediately apply to create more inclusive training environments.

Participants will gain a clearer understanding of intellectual disability and autism, learn inclusive coaching strategies, ask questions in a safe space, and explore real-world solutions to adapt sessions and better support athletes of all abilities.

Whether you’re new to coaching or experienced, this workshop will help you build confidence, understanding, and impact through inclusive football.
