Following on from the release of the Australian Space Agency Moon to Mars: Demonstrator Feasibility Grant, the SmartSat CRC are presenting a series of webinars focusing on highlighting the challenges and requirements to put a payload in space.
This first webinar provides an overview by Dr Ady James (SmartSat CRC) of the NASA Life Cycle Phases (pre-Phase A through to Phase-B) with a focus on the systems engineering approach required to successfully progress through the phases.
David Haley (Myriota) will then provide an overview of the considerations and challenges accessing spectrum for communications, launch opportunities and payload launch requirements.
Finally, Dr Sean Tuttle (Nova Systems) will provide an overview of the test and evaluation facilities, risks and lessons learned. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A with a panel of industry experts.
