About this event

Nourish body, mind and soul by treating yourself to a Slow Sunday Mini Yoga Retreat with Gyani in the beautiful Ferguson Valley.

During the mini retreat you will experience a variety of yoga and meditation practices that are all about slowing down and recentering your body and mind. These practices help to activate our parasympathetic nervous system and the body’s relaxation response - to enable a deep physical, mental and emotional relaxation.

Enjoy a nourishing light vegetarian lunch overlooking the beautiful views of the winery. Have an opportunity to taste Saint Aidan’s award winning wines and can choose either a glass of wine or alcohol free option for lunch.

About Gyani ::

Teaching yoga is one of the greatest joys of Gyani’s life. She has dedicated many years living and training in yoga ashrams/retreats around the world. Her journey led her to India where she spent a life changing 3 years living in an ashram experiencing a yogic lifestyle and the more esoteric practices of yoga.

Gyani has been teaching yoga for over 10 years - she focuses mainly on teaching Hatha, Yin/Restorative, and meditation practices including Yoga Nidra. She is a certfied Yoga Therapist and Ayurveda Lifestyle Consultant. Gyani has a taste for ‘the subtle’ and her intention when teaching yoga is to share the deeper aspects of yoga - integrating meditation and pranayama (breathwork) into her classes. She hopes to make the benefits of yoga accessible to all and always offers her retreats with joy, passion and a smile.
