Determined to help his friends, Ben risks his life and tackles overwhelming odds to locate May and Pang in distant regions of China.
About this event
When an Australian filmmaker returns to the mountains of northern Vietnam to investigate the abductions of his teenaged friends, he uncovers a local human trafficking crisis. Young women are being betrayed, stolen and sold across the border in China their thousands, as brides and prostitutes.
Determined to help his friends, Ben risks his life and tackles overwhelming odds to locate May and Pang in distant regions of China, and this sets in motion an incredible series of events.
Having given birth in China, each young woman faces a decision no mother should ever have to make: the choice between her child and her freedom.
Refusing to accept the role of victims, May and Pang must use their wits to reclaim their lives and bring their traffickers to justice, transforming their personal tragedies into a dramatic story of hope and courage.

CHOCOLATE TASTING with BENNETTO
Sourced in the heart of the South American cocoa producing areas of either Peru or Ecuador, the beans form Bennetto chocolate are carefully cultivated by small scale farming groups who champion gender equality, young farmer training and reforestation in the Amazon. Bennetto then partners with a Swiss chocolate maker who offsets all CO2 produced by planting additional timber trees in the area.
The native birds of South America, gracing the recyclable packaging are to remind people there is delicate ecosystem that lies behind every chocolate bar.
