Question 1

Will food and drink be available all evening?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we will be behind the bar ready to serve before, after and throughout the silent reading hour. Just come up to the bar or give us a wave to order. Our food menu is limited - if you'll want something larger than a jaffle, gozleme or charcuterie board, we'd recommend coming via a restaurant.

Question 2

What is parking like?

Accepted Answer

The best place to park near Willows & Wine is on Eades Place or across the road in the parking lot on the corner of Roden St and Victoria St.

Question 3

Will there be books available to read?

Accepted Answer

The library shelves across from the bar are full of books that can be read by any customers. There are new and secondhand books in the front room for sale, so you'll have to buy one of them to read it.

Question 4

How do you feel about technology?

Accepted Answer

Eh... it's fine! But for this event, in the spirit of relaxation for all, we would like to request no phones or tablets out and in use. With the exception of kindles and audio books of course!

Question 5

How noisy does Willows & Wine get?

Accepted Answer

For this event, we'll keep it nice and quiet. We will be playing some quiet music in the background and ask that anyone listening to an audio book uses headphones at a lowish volume.
