Flow commences with gentle, embodied movement practice, BE ME HUM Followed by a calm sound frequency journey, expanding into a heart opening gentle flow. Readying you for a deep guided meditation... You will surrender to your own deep relaxation.
What is Be Me Hum?
Be Me Hum is a gentle, embodied movement practice that invites you to recognise who you truly are and to give yourself permission to be fully, authentically you.
It is less about doing and more about being — listening inwardly, moving intuitively, and reconnecting with your own natural rhythm and vibration.
Rather than following traditional yoga postures, Be Me Hum uses slow, accessible movement, breath, sound, and awareness to help the nervous system soften and the body feel safe, grounded, and alive. The practice is inclusive, adaptable, and suitable for all bodies and all stages of life.
What happens in a Be Me Hum session?
A Be Me Hum session gently weaves together:
- Slow, flowing movement (not yoga asana)
- Sacred geometry expressed through the body — circles, stars, hearts, and triangles
- Breath awareness and natural rhythm
- Chanting, humming, and vocal toning
- Affirmations and intention
- Simple numerology and timing to create harmony and flow
A central element of Be Me Hum is humming, inspired by the vibration of bees. The hum is deeply calming and regulating for the nervous system, naturally bringing the body into a coherent, resonant state.
When we hum together, we shift from thinking to feeling — from tension to ease, from separation to connection.
The practice is meditative, grounding, and quietly powerful.
Theme: Light — Shining Your Unique Radiance
Presented by Lisa Hackett and Bruce Margetic, the theme for this collaboration is Light.
This session invites each person to recognise themselves as a magnificent, shining light — unique, valuable, and deeply needed.
Through movement, sound, and intention, participants are gently guided to:
- Sense their inner light
- Strengthen their connection to it
- Allow it to expand outward with confidence and ease
It is about being the best version of yourself by shining your unique light — fully, honestly, and gently.
About Lisa Hackett
Lisa has over a decade of experience teaching Kundalini Yoga and many years immersed in movement, meditation, sound, and energetic practices.
Six years ago, she began receiving spontaneous visions — often in the early hours of the morning — of movements, shapes, and sequences that did not fit within traditional yoga frameworks. These visions became the foundation of a new, evolving practice.
Lisa initially taught under the name Calmer Yoga, before allowing the work to fully unfold into what is now Be Me Hum — a modality born from lived experience, intuition, and deep listening.
Her classes are known for their calming presence and the profound sense of “coming home” that participants so often describe.
About Bruce Margetic
Bruce combines absract concepts working with Sound Therapy and Eight Extraordinary Vessels Tuning Forks. Reiki Master, Trainer of Meditation and Hypnotherapy.
Presented in JOHNSON HALL Level 2 Crows Nest Centre
