This class is the follow on from our beginners class - Helping people progress in their rope journey.

Welcome to Shibari Perth Rope Classes


Our beginner-friendly classes are designed to help you explore the art of Shibari safely and confidently, while building your skills step by step.

Whether you’re brand new or looking to refresh the basics, this is a relaxed and welcoming space to learn, practise, and connect.

If you’d like more practice and guidance from your first lesson, you’re very welcome to join we’ll help you refine your skills on this night. Or, if you’re ready to move forward, join us for The Next Steps class below.


The Next Steps

This class is the follow-on from our Beginners Class and now runs fortnightly.

You’ve covered the introductions, talked about safety, learned some fundamental knots, and tried a few simple ties, now it’s time to progress. This is a hands-on, practical class designed to build confidence and expand your skills.

For those joining you will need to know how to do a 2 rope TK and basic coloum ties.


What to Expect

  • Revision of the 2-rope Takate Kote (TK)
  • Progressing to the 3-rope Takate Kote (TK) and exploring small variations
  • Hands-on teaching with guidance from experienced instructors
  • Time to practise and develop confidence with your new skills
  • A safe, respectful learning space for all attendees
  • A short preview of what’s coming next at the end of the night

NB: If you don’t yet own rope, we have some available to borrow for the class.
Please be aware that we do not pair attendees during lessons or events , you’ll need to arrange a partner beforehand.


Class Details


  • Tickets: Sold as tying pair tickets (you’ll need a partner to attend this class)
  • Doors open: 6:30 pm for check-in and paperwork
  • Doors close: 6:50 pm sharp
  • Class time: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, with open practice until 10:00 pm
  • Cost: $25 per person
  • Dress code: Neat casual or gym wear, comfortable for movement
  • Parking: On-site and street parking available

Paperwork is required when you first attend. Once completed, it’s valid for the year.
