This International Women’s Day, we’re balancing the scales.
UN Women Australia has announced “Balance the Scales” as the 2026 IWD theme — calling for fair, inclusive and accessible justice for every woman and girl.
Despite decades of progress, one in three women worldwide will experience physical or sexual violence in their lifetime. Most will never seek formal help or justice.
She Runs The Night is our way of taking up space — together, and reclaiming our right to feel safe moving through public spaces after dark.
Hosted by Hype Girl Social Club x LSKD, this community run/walk is an International Women's Day event that's rooted in impact, where community shows up not just in words, but in action.
We'll meet at Park Pantry for a pre-event hype up with Andrea San Diego on the DJ decks, before heading across to the Tan Track.
Walk or run, 15 minutes out. 15 minutes back.
We'll have someone leading both so no one gets left behind.
And BYO glowsticks, fluro or glow in the dark body paint to light up the night!
Afterwards, we’ll head back to Park Pantry for post-sweat hangs — DJ, nibbles, non-alc drinks by HIGHR, energy gels by Maple, and plenty of time to connect, mingle and make some new friends.
PLUS: First 40 tickets = goodie bag secured.
LSKD drink bottle, sweat towel, and extra partner goodies. So be quick to book your spot!
And the best part? 100% of proceeds will be donated to White Ribbon Australia, supporting the prevention of men’s violence against women.
