Introducing our Guest speaker;

Robyn Ober
Robyn has grown up in the Australian Pentecostal movement, supporting her parents
Pastors Lawrence and Mary Ramsey, throughout their pioneering ministry in northern
Australia over four decades. Robyn is an Indigenous Australian woman with cultural
connections to the Mamu/Djirribal/Bulgun Warra people in far north Queensland.
Robyn works as an Indigenous researcher at Batchelor Institute and has over 30
years of experience in the remote, rural and urban educational contexts in the
Northern Territory and beyond. Robyn serves as leadership support at Darwin
Hillsong church and is a current member of the Australian Hillsong Board and is
regularly called on to speak at church events locally and nationally across Australia.
She is often invited to speak at national educational and research conferences on
research methodologies, languages and linguistics and pedagogical approaches in
Indigenous education.
