Join us for Creative Therapy Adelaide's developmental music groups tailored for parents and their children aged 0-5 years, proudly provided by the Burnside City Council.
Our inclusive program warmly welcomes all children and their caregiver, regardless of ability. Each session follows a consistent format designed to foster child success, with a weekly focus on key developmental concepts accompanied by parent education on effective music usage at home.
Facilitated by allied health professionals, such as Registered Music Therapists, this group targets:

Session Duration: Each session lasts for 45 minutes.
Participant Benefits: Our focus is on enhancing family wellbeing while fostering age-appropriate developmental skills in children, including motor skills, communication, social/emotional skills, cognitive abilities, and more.
Participation: This group is tailored to children with diverse needs and provides an understanding and supportive environment where everyone learns at their own pace. Parents are required to support their child throughout the session.
What's Awesome About This Group: Creative Therapy Adelaide's music groups stand out because their facilitators are not only skilled musicians, but also qualified allied health professionals in music therapy or speech therapy. Their programs are research-informed, utilising live music, particularly acoustic guitar. We're equipped to support parents in enhancing their children's development outside of the group setting.
Ticketing: Please note that it is one ticket per family for a parent/caregiver and up to two children from the same family. If you have more than two children, please book two tickets accordingly. Additionally, there is a minimum requirement for a ratio of one caregiver to two children to make the program successful :) This group is suitable for children aged 5 years and under and families with twins are encourage.
