Sew Good - Sewing Course: Beginners (Tuesdays) T1 2026
Let our expert trainer Lynn Burton teach you sewing skills over a 10-wk course targeted at those with only a little or no sewing experience.
Never picked up a needle and thread or have a little experience but want to make bigger seam dreams a reality? Let our friendly expert trainer, Lynn Burton, masterfully guide you through the essential skills over a 10-week series of classes.
Expect to learn;
- 4 hand sewing stitches
- how to wind a bobbin & thread your machine
- the different stitches available on your machine
- 6 different seam finishes
- and so much more!
Kits are available at a discounted cost for the samples you will make, which also includes some of the items required for completing projects.

BOOKINGS:
- CAHRS Members: $180+BF
- Standard Adult Ticket: $220+BF
If you wish to purchase a members ticket and you are not a 2026 CAHRS member, you will need to become a member. Purchase CAHRS membership online
NOTE: Memberships will be checked to ensure you have purchased the correct ticket.
TO BRING:
A detailed list will be sent to you closer to the class with everything you need.
NOTE: A sewing machine is required.
