Sew Good - Dressmaking Essentials (Tuesdays) T1 2026

Overview

Have some sewing skills but looking to master more? Learn the essential skills to make a variety of garments over a 10-week course.

SEW GOOD returns to gather you up a lifetime of future sewing successes.

For graduates of the Beginners class or sewers with base skills looking to progress to learning dressmaking and more advanced techniques, the Dressmaking Essentials course is designed to improve your reading of designs, fitting patterns, marking fabric etc. You'll leave having created pants, an A-line skirt, and a dress, and with a mountain of new knowledge and notes to continue improving!

Let our friendly expert trainer Lynn Burton masterfully guide you through the essential skills over this popular, long-running 10-class short course.
