Seppeltsfield Estate precinct partners Vasse Virgin, Prohibition Liquor and The Little Knife Shop will be showcasing their products, local musicians James Pots, Chayse Larsen, Bobbie Blechynden  performing and delicious food from 'Uncle K and Co' plus Barossa Valley icecream and Seppeltsfield wines.

What sort of tables and chair set up will you have?

Accepted Answer

Our cafe grounds will have tables and chairs, some umbrellas and lots of shade from the trees before the sun sets. Please no BYO alcohol or picnic food, as we will have food trucks, wine bar  (for 18+) and the cafe open to purchase selected items. Feel free to bring a deck chair, or picnic rug.

What does the name of the event 'First Pick' mean?

Accepted Answer

We wanted to host an event that celebrates young, emerging, local musicians - many who play the guitar, hence the 'pick'. We also want to celebrate the start of the 2026 vintage and the 'first pick'. It's a relaxed, family friendly event where music and wines can be enjoyed at sunset.

Where can I park?

The main (free)car park at Seppeltsfield will remain open until after the event concludes at 9pm. Enter via 730 Seppeltsfield Road, park your car and take a short walk across to the cafe grounds.
