Frequently asked questions

How will this program run?

We will provide group support to yourself and five others who have pre-registered for the session. Please ensure you fill out the registration form prior to the session so that we can be properly equipped to assist you.

What do I need to bring along with me?

Please bring your device, any usernames or passwords, and your Boroondara Library Service membership card.

What are some examples of what you can help with?

We can provide Foundation and Beginner level assistance. This might include familiarising yourself with the basic functions of your device, connecting your device to the Internet, opening and replying to emails, or sending a photograph you have taken on your device to a friend.

What are some examples of what you are unable to help with?

We are unable to help with form filling, as well as with more intermediate and advanced assistance. This includes things like using apps, editing videos on your device, and assisting with Medicare and myGov. Our staff can direct you to other community organisations to assist with these tasks.
