Selling Art Online - a different way of thinking
Begin your journey into online art sales in this conversational workshop with Ross de Hoog.
Most artists today have some awareness of selling their work online — through websites, social media, or third-party platforms — yet many still feel unsure why certain approaches work while others stall.
This professional development workshop invites artists and creators to step back and look at e-commerce through a different lens, exploring how small shifts in thinking can influence outcomes.
The discussion will centre on perspective: understanding audiences, pricing and value, buyer behaviour, and the realities of operating as a business. Delivered as an open, conversational Q&A, the session draws on real-world observation and shared experience.
Presented in two parts (approximately 2 hours each), the workshop offers space for reflection, discussion, and fresh ways of thinking about how art is shared and sold.
