Drawing on her experience as a teacher, academic and award‑winning children’s author, Sally Murphy will show you how to match books to readers, plan engaging read‑alouds, and foster a lifelong love of reading in children and teens.


About Sally: An author, poet, academic and educator, Sally holds a Doctorate in Creative Writing, lectures at Curtin University, and was awarded an OAM in 2022 for her contributions to children’s literature and education. Based in WA’s South West, she’s passionate about spreading the joy of reading and writing to audiences of all ages.
