<h3>Join Our 🌱 Seed-Saving Workshop!</h3>📅 Date: Saturday, May 10th ⏰ Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM 📍 Location: 315 Bagot Rd, Subiaco WA 6008Join us for a hands-on workshop with Thrive Sustainability and become a seed-saving pro! In this session, you’ll learn how to save seeds from your favorite plants and ensure a sustainable future for your garden, all while saving money.About Your Instructor: Meet Laura Blishen, the founder of <a href="https://www.thrivesustainability.com.au/" title="https://www.thrivesustainability.com.au/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Thrive Sustainability</a>. Laura is passionate about sustainable living and gardening, having turned her lifelong love for growing food and caring for the planet into a business that helps others lead healthier, more sustainable lives. With a deep understanding of gardening and self-sufficiency, Laura inspires participants to take small, impactful steps toward a greener future. Through Thrive Sustainability, she provides practical tools and advice to help individuals embrace eco-friendly practices and grow their own food for a more sustainable lifestyle.What You’ll Learn:<ul><li>Why Seed-Saving Matters: Understand the importance of saving seeds for biodiversity, resilience, and self-reliance.</li><li>Seed Selection: Learn how to choose the best plants for seed-saving and identify ideal candidates.</li><li>Harvesting Techniques: Master how to collect seeds from vegetables, herbs, and flowers.</li><li>Processing, Storage, and Preservation: Learn how to properly store seeds to maintain their viability over time.</li><li>Hands-On Practice: Get your hands dirty as we practice seed-saving techniques together.</li></ul>What to Bring: All materials for the workshop will be provided, so you don’t need to bring anything—just wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.Parking and Transport: Free parking is available in the Theatre Gardens car park on Saturdays and Sundays.
