Join us for a special once-only exploration into old and now rare Aged Rieslings ! Join our sommelier, Antony Anderson (WSET4), for a delightful evening of exploring the history and flavours of six cellared wines, from Australia's best Riesling regions, over a perfectly matched three-course dinner (see the line-up below).

This particular event focuses on the concept of aging wine, and shows how even medium-priced wines can develop into exceptional wines when cellared properly.

Aged Australian Rieslings are especially revered for their long-term cellaring potential, where they transform from fresh citrus and floral notes to complex honey, nutty, and toasty characters after a decade or more. This transformation is due to their high acidity, which acts as a natural preservative.

Join us to explore some of the top regions for age-worthy Riesling like Watervale and the Eden Valley in South Australia (our favourites!), and compare them with different regions including Coonawarra (SA), the Barossa Valley (SA) and even Great Western (VIC). Riesling's high acid makes it a perfect pairing with rich seafood like salmon, which the wine's citrus-palate also compliments, hence the salmon-focussed menu.
