About this eventThe draft Seaton Code Amendment is now open for consultation.This community drop-in session will give you the opportunity to meet with our planners to learn more about the draft Seaton Code Amendment and ask any questions that you might have.You are welcome to drop in at any time during the session. Please note that this is not a formal presentation but an opportunity for the community to speak face-to-face with the team.

About the draft Code AmendmentThe draft Seaton Code Amendment aims to rezone to Urban Renewal Neighbourhood Zone. This will support the creation of a medium-to-high density, mixed-housing neighbourhood and would:<ul><li>enable a variety of housing types including townhouses, semi-detached, apartments and detached homes</li><li>allow for taller buildings along main roads and near open spaces</li><li>enable more housing to be built in well-connect areas</li><li>support the delivery of around 1,450 new homes in line with Renewal SA's urban renewal project.</li></ul>The amendment aims to create a neighbourhood that:<ul><li>provides well-designed open space, local amenities, and community facilities</li><li>supports affordable, public, and market housing</li><li>maximises the potential of a well-serviced and connected area, while complementing the existing streetscape and community.</li></ul>
