Seasonal workers induction and registration session
Event Information
About this Event
This session is open to the migrant community only.
MADEC Australia is holding induction sessions where you can come along, find out about the opportunities available, and register your details to let growers know you are ready for work in orchards.
We are currently seeing an increasing demand for local workers across the Huon Valley.
Three sessions are being held on 20 January at the Huonville Town Hall, starting at 10am, 12 noon and 2pm. Two sessions are being held in at the Migrant Resource Centre in Glenorchy on 22 January and 29 January. Update: the 29 January sessions are now taking place on Friday 5 February. See all sessions
Each one-hour session will include:
- An induction video
- Opportunity to register for work
- Time for questions
Numbers are limited, so be sure to book!
To complete the registration process, you will need to bring proof of ID. Please bring along your photo ID (e.g. driver licence), as well as any additional forms as ID such as a Medicare card or bank card.
