Event description
What will the world in 2030 look like? Let's endeavor to create a prosperous, equitable and sustainable world in 2030!

About this Event

The Project: Sustainable Youth 2019 Committee and Robina State High School invites community members to participate in the Sustainable Development Goals Game and World Café workshop. This interactive workshop event is an opportunity for community members to experience this innovative game and workshop previously played by youth at Project: Sustainable Youth 2019 Symposium, August 3, 2019.

The Sustainable Development Goals Game is an expertly, internationally facilitated innovative simulation card game, projecting the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals into the future - 2030. This experience has become a powerful and impactful social phenomenon, a way to explore how the SDGs are interconnected with processes and decisions in corporate, business, education, community and government sectors.

The World Café workshop which follows, is an internationally renowned methodology for facilitating dialogue, sparking collaborative ideas and harvesting the collective intelligence of a group. Through rotating conversations and both verbal and visual creative expression, participants will have a unique opportunity to authentically engage with sustainability solutions, using the SDGs Game as a catalyst.

Let's endeavor to create a prosperous, equitable and sustainable world in 2030! Project: Sustainable Youth 2019 and Robina State High School are proud to sponsor this opportunity in conjunction with Councillor Hermann Vorster, Division 11.

Tea/coffee, morning tea and lunch provided. Bring your own refillable water bottle and reusable coffee cup.
