Peel Bright Minds, a WA science hub, works with the community and our partner organisations to communicate, coordinate and promote regional activities and events that:Promote STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths)and connect the community, especially young people, to activities and opportunities in the region, includingcitizen scienceopportunities.Encourage an aspirant cultureamong people of all backgrounds, ages and abilities in the Peel,celebrating our unique regional strengthsthrough STEM and the arts.We also work to facilitate collaboration among regional stakeholders, especially STEM champions and researchers.Have a look at ourevents pageto see our upcoming and past events, as well as other partners’ events in the region relating to ESTEAM and lifelong learning.On ouropportunities page, you will find current grants, volunteering, and citizen science opportunities from Peel Bright Minds and others around the region.

Peel Bright Minds

Peel Bright Minds presents a series of Science Cafés throughout August across the Peel region. This is a free, all ages event to learn from scientific researchers about their projects in an informal setting (with yummy food). 
Join us for the Waroona edition, Tuesday 21st August, Totem Rustic Cafe, 5.30pm to 8pm. Our presenters will explore the theme of 'science from sea to scarp'. 
All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend this event, including children under 18 accompanied by an adult.
