School Holidays @ Arncliffe Library - Starting School Storytime (Age 3-5)

Are you getting ready to start school or daycare in 2026? Whether you are nervous or excited, this special storytime session hosted by library staff is designed to help kids get ready for the next chapter! We will be reading stories, singing and dancing, and doing a storytime graduation-themed craft.

Our storytime sessions are tailored to pre-schoolers aged 3 to 5 years old and centre on reading books to children to further develop their language and pre-reading skills, while teaching them to sit quietly and listen with other children in a group.

If you have a new school uniform, why not wear it to storytime? Maybe you will spot someone in the same uniform and make your first school friend!

This session runs for 40-45 minutes and includes a fun craft activity to finish!
