School Holiday Painting Workshop with Jayden Marriott
Join exhibiting artist Jayden Marriott these school holidays for an acrylic painting workshop focused on abstracting the natural world.
Create your own abstract painting inspired by nature and mindfulness at MAC yapang.
Guided by Jayden, participants will learn how to create expressive artworks that explore different ways of abstracting natural forms such as trees, mountains and flowers. The workshop begins with a tour of Jayden’s exhibition, I’M WITH YOU, I ALWAYS HAVE BEEN, where he will introduce students to the ideas behind his practice.
Following the exhibition walkthrough, each child will be guided through techniques for abstracting natural subjects and will complete the session with their own acrylic-on-canvas abstract painting to take home.
