School Holiday Clay Sculpture Workshop

School Holiday Clay Sculpture Workshop

Museum of Art and Culture yapang, Lake MacquarieBooragul, NSW
Wednesday, Apr 8 from 10 am to 12 pm AEST
Overview

Join us at MAC yapang these school holidays to create sculptures inspired by underwater life in clay!

Create your own underwater‑inspired sculpture in this workshop led by artist Tahlia Undarlegt.

Participants will take inspiration from First Class 25, an exhibition showcasing the achievements of last year’s HSC Visual Arts cohort.

This workshop will begin with a guided tour of the exhibition, followed by brainstorming and sketching ideas, before bringing them to life through simple clay techniques. Each child will create a unique clay sculpture to take home - no kiln required! Once dry, pieces can be painted and decorated at home for any additional finishing touches.
