Overview

If you want to improve your skills at pain education and presenting complex scientific concepts to groups then this workshop is for you!

This one-day workshop will focus on preparation and delivery of group education sessions, for scientific, clinical and/or lay audiences. The format will include lectures, interactive exercises and skills practice with feedback. Expect hard work, a safe and encouraging environment, supportive and constructively critical peers, fun and a plan to keep growing.

The learning objectives are, to:

1. Identify values and vulnerabilities, strengths and growth areas for becoming a better presenter

2. Be able to plan for specific presentations to optimise learning

3. Be aware of contemporary frameworks by which to prepare, deliver and evaluate your presentation

4. Remember and implement techniques captured by the RECLAIMA and PHART acronyms

5. Identify strengths and growth areas

6. Develop a plan for further development
