Event description

Description

Following 2017 seasons at Edinburgh Fringe (UK), George Town (Malaysia), Art, Not Apart, and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, modern classical duo and new Ainslie Arts Centre resident Tess Said So present their award-winning live score for Nosferatu in a brand new setting, re-written and arranged to showcase the stunning voice of mezzo-soprano AJ America.

For one night only, Tess Said So and AJ America will perform Schallen - the sound and aura of Nosferatu, as a live remixed soundtrack to the film’s stark gothic visuals. This time, their interpretation mixes voice with piano, electronics, and Will Larsen's massive labyrinth of drums, shakers, bells, cymbals, gongs and percussion to create a unique experiential soundscape. Be lured...
