About this event
Saxophone Ensemble - What is a City?
The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music Saxophone Ensemble presents a curated concert inspired by the abstract and emotional connections we share within our cities. Featuring a variety of classical-contemporary music, the performance includes three stunning world premieres by Charlotte Harding (UK), Panvino Calogero (AUS), and Mira Stephens (AUS).
The Ensemble is directed by Joseph Lallo and features the entire saxophone studio at the Conservatorium. It is the ensemble’s mission to develop its unique voice through commissioning and premiering of new works, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the curation of immersive performances.
