Saturday Tasting - Great value Aussie Chardonnay and Chillable Spanish Red
Pop in from 12pm to taste a recent Chardonnay addition from Sunbury and the latest vintage chillable red from Spainish producer Pirineos.
We're always on the look out for everyday drinking and great value wines here at the shop and these 2 wines are both in that mould.
The 2024 Marnong Chardonnay is from Sunbury, Victoria, the same region that Craiglee calls home. and it punches well above it's weight, some oak toastiness, zingy like acidity and minerality.
The Pirineos Principio Moristel 2024 is from a Spanish co-operative in the Pyrennes, near the French border. Moristel is the grape and indigenous to this part of Spain, it's a thin-skinned, low yielding varietal that produces a light and crunchy red and has been one of our mainstay chillable red options for a few years now.
