My child doesn’t sit still. Is it OK for them to come to story time?

Yes - many active kids are still taking in what we are singing and reading. If you are new to Story Time, you might like to come just for the beginning song, or aim for the end, and stay for a short time, and increase the time spent gradually.

What if my child starts crying or gets fussy?

If your little one needs a quiet moment or a break, feel free to step out and return whenever you like. We’re happy to welcome you back whenever you’re ready.

My child is younger than 3 - does that matter?

All ages are welcome. If you have an adult who can bring your child to the library during the week, they might prefer our Rhyme Time or Activity Time sessions.
