About this event
Any medium, any subject - in this class Roz will guide you through the wonderful world of mixed media arts.
Exploration is the most important skill a budding artist can learn, in this class Roz will show you the wonderful things that can come from exploring and experimenting with medium, subject and form.
Course dates and times:
- 9.30 am-10.15 am
- Saturday 27 April to 22 June

- Apron
- all art materials provided
Bookings are essential and numbers are strictly limited.
The minimum number of students for each class is 6, please be advised that cancellations may take place 24 hours before. We will endeavor to offer you a place in another class or alternatively offer you refund.

Sign in/sign out Procedure
Parents are required to attend the first 10 minutes of the first session of the term, to hear important information relating to your child’s enrolment.
For all Sessions parents are required to sign in and sign out your child if they under the age of 13. This is a safety requirement which is mandatory. We will also require you to include emergency contact details in the Sign in sheet.
Class Cancellation or Substitute Teachers
Due to illness, unforeseen circumstances or where a suitable substitute is not available and a class has to be cancelled, you will be contacted via email and by SMS 30 minutes prior to the class starting. In these situations, either a class refund will be processed, or an additional class will be added to the term dates.
Late Collection of Children
Please be mindful of what time classes end, we ask that you are onsite at this time to collect your child.
In the event of unavoidable delays, per our child safety policy the class tutor must always remain with the child and a late fee will be charged to cover the cost associated with overtime payments. The late fee is charged $15 per 15 minutes.

Extra support/Medical Conditions
Please notify staff if you or your child require extra support during classes, have a medical condition and any relevant allergies that we should be aware of.
Refund Policy
You will not receive a refund once a course has started for classes you miss for non-attendance. You may receive a refund on the following:
• A cancelled class due to tutor illness or unavailability
• You have tested positive to Covid-19
• Long term illness
• Personal reasons, such as bereavement
You will not be offered a refund in instances of conflicting scheduling on your part.
Parking
Parking is available at Manningham Council MC2 building. There are two ways you can access the building – through the Doncaster library entrance on ground level or via the elevators from the MC2 underground car park.
The library entrance may be closed after hours. In which case, please enter via the underground Carpark at MC2 and take elevator to Level 2, exit right, turn left along walkway to the art studios.
Please note: Carpark entry gate automatically closes at 8pm but has a sensor for exiting as you leave at the conclusion of your class.
Staying COVID Safe
All staff, students and visitors to Manningham Art Studios are required to comply with current COVID Safe practices and legislative requirements. If you are unwell, please stay home. We suggest you get tested for COVID-19. We request that students and visitors who have recently tested positive notify us at artstudios@manningham.vic.gov.au or by phone 03 9840 9382.
