Santi Monastery offers a program of meditation & teachings for the whole family at Western Sydney University

Santi Sunday: Monthly family-friendly activities, teachings & meditation

Presenter: Ayya Karunika & other nuns from Santi Forest Monastery (in person)

22 February & last Sunday of the month, 4:30pm - 7pm AEST

Location: Online (Zoom link below) or in person at Western Sydney University Parramatta South Campus, classroom PS-EA.1.29 (Building EA, Level 1, Room 29). Car entry via Victoria Road. Google Maps Link + see map below

Enter through the main entrace to Building EA, take the lift up to Level 1, and walk across to the other side of the building.


All are welcome to attend this free event but registration is essential for catering.


The sessions include:

· Buddhist teachings

· Exercises on using your body to soothe your mind (Tai-chi)

· Q & A sessions to discuss and explore your journey to wellbeing

· Family friendly: activities for kids while parents attend adult sessions

· Make friends with like-minded people over some snacks

Sessions are suitable for people of all ages whether you are a beginner or have been practising for some time.


About the presenter: Ayya Karunika is an experienced meditator and teacher at Santi Forest Monastery, NSW. She is able to articulate the Buddhist teachings in a way that is practical to people of all ages and has a passion to share her experience and knowledge.
