Overview

Join us at Luna Park for Salt March 2026, where we'll have a blast while celebrating diversity and inclusion together!

About This Event

A disability doesn't limit your fullness of life. Fun is for everyone.

Join the SALT Foundation for the Salt March 2026—an exclusive, joyful celebration of ability, community, and belonging at Melbourne's iconic Luna Park. This isn't just another awareness event. It's a declaration that everyone has value, everyone belongs, and everyone deserves to experience pure joy.

What Makes This Year Different?

Instead of a traditional walk, we're inviting you to journey to Luna Park however you're able—because the destination is where the magic happens. You'll enjoy exclusive access to Luna Park's rides and attractions during our private event window, with at least five attractions open for our community.

Who Should Attend?

The Salt March 2026 is open to NDIS participants, support workers, families, carers, disability service providers, and anyone passionate about bridging the disability gap. Whether you're living with a disability, supporting someone who is, or simply committed to building a more inclusive Australia, this is your opportunity to be part of something extraordinary.

What's Included?

  • Exclusive access to Luna Park rides and attractions
  • A supportive, welcoming environment designed for all abilities
  • Connection with disability service providers and like-minded families
  • An afternoon of celebration, laughter, and shared experience

Registration Fees:

  • FREE for NDIS registered participants and their support workers/carers
  • FREE for Companion Card and Victoria We Care Card holders
  • $25 for wider community attendees and supporters (contributes to Luna Park entry and helps keep the event free for those who need it most)

Why "Salt March"?

Named after Gandhi's historic Salt March for social justice, our annual March—held every March—represents the SALT Foundation's commitment to advocating for people living with disabilities under the NDIS. It's community in action, grounded in our core mission: helping people living with a disability and families find a place to belong with the support they want and deserve.

Accessibility:

Luna Park is committed to accessibility. Visit lunapark.com.au/guests-with-special-needs-and-their-carers for comprehensive information.

Registration opens October 2025. Secure your spot today and prepare to be part of Melbourne's most inclusive, joyful celebration of community and ability.

Together, we're not just marching—we're building a future where everyone belongs.
