One-day Zoom course that covers the theory of installation, including designing a layout, types of structures & suitable anchor types.

The course is a comprehensive one-day program that covers the theory of installation, including designing a layout, types of structures and suitable anchor types.There is also a practical demonstration component to the training and our facilitators will demonstrate the installation of our anchors.Each attendee receives a course manual and a handbook which includes installation guides and specifications of all our products. Successful completion of the course also entitles you to Trade Pricing on all our products. A certificate of competency that is valid for 3 years is issued at the end of the day.

Our Refresher course is for previously accredited installers only. Please ensure to choose the Zoom Refresher Course Ticket. You are only required to stay for the first session, the practical demonstration is not compulsory to sit through unless you wish.

The course is structured around the following topics:

Module 1 – What are anchor points & static lines.

Module 2 – Some common basic terminology.

Module 3 – Standards - including who is a competent person, standards and codes of practice relation to installation of height safety systems, and standards relating to manufacture of anchor points.

Module 4 – Anchor point system design and layout plan.

Module 5 – Host structures and methods of fixing including annual testing and certifying.

Module 6 – Signage.

Module 7 – Incorrect installations.
