Join us for our 2nd SA Primary Health Care Conference, jointly hosted by Adelaide PHN and Country SA PHN – FREE REGISTRATION.

This year, the conference themes are around innovation, integration and collaboration. Attendees will have the chance to interact in workshops and engage with a diverse range of experts through keynote presentations, TED-style talks and panel discussions.

Friday 14 June - GP only, full-day Mental Health Cat 1 Workshop 8.00am – 5.00pm
A GP mental health workshop will be offered as a CPD activity (40 Category 1 points – pending) upskilling GPs in low intensity, moderate and severe primary mental health treatments. Registrations open from 8.00am with the workshop commencing at 8.30, concluding at 5pm.

Friday 14 June - Full day Mental Health Workshop 8.00am – 5.00pm (FULL)
A mental health workshop will be offered for health professionals (nurses, allied health, psychologists etc.). This session will also cover low intensity, moderate and severe primary mental health treatments. A certificate of attendance will be provided to enable self-recorded CPD activity. Registrations open from 8.00am with the workshop commencing at 8.30, concluding at 5pm.

Please note - if you have registered for the full-day mental health workshops on Friday 14 June, you are not required to register for the Friday half-day ticket option. Please also register for the Saturday if you are interested in attending.


Friday 14 June –Conference half day One 12.00pm – 5.00pm (FULL)

The Conference officially opens from 12.30pm and concludes at 5.00pm. Attendees will hear from keynote speakers providing an insight into clinician wellbeing and resilience, and the benefits this can have on teams.

All delegates, sponsors and exhibitors are welcome to attend Networking drinks from 5.00pm – 6.00pm.

Saturday 15 June – Conference Day Two 8.00am – 5.00pm (FULL)

Registrations open at 8.00am with conference commencing at 9.30am

An Aboriginal guided walk around the Torrens River with Kaurna Elder Frank Wanganeen will take place from 7.45am – 9.00am.

The three themes for Saturday are innovation, integration and collaboration. Sessions will cover a wide range of rural and metro programs and services including Health Care Homes, Patient Centred Medical Home Model, Primary Health Care System Change, Aged Care, Mental Health, Chronic Conditions, Immunisation, Aboriginal Health, Peer Support, Quality Improvement, Cancer Screening and Digital Health.


Integration

This stream will explore a variety of methods and models which aim to connect and align health care professionals and providers. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from and engage with a range of speakers who are actively working to provide integrated health care, and they will leave with a greater understanding of how to undertake integration activities in their own day-to-day practice.

Innovation

Designing and delivering new solutions for old problems is the key to many innovative activities. Participants in this stream will discover a range of interesting and innovative activities in primary care, learning about practical, real-life ways that innovation has improved health outcomes for South Australians.

Collaboration

Showcasing a selection of programs and activities from around South Australia, this stream will introduce participants to varying approaches used when collaborating to improve health outcomes. Participants will get to know about the barriers and facilitators of collaboration, as well as learning tips and tricks to improve or start their own collaboration activities.

Non-attendance will incur a $100.00 cancellation fee if notification hasn’t been received 72 hours prior to the conference.
