Running Skills Year 1 to Year 5

Running Skills Sessions - Years 1 to 5 students

Cornish College students in Years 1 to 5 have the opportunity to participate in a weekly Running Skills Session. Sessions take place on the College oval between 3.45pm and 4.30pm on Thursday afternoons. This activity suits students who have an interest in running and may want to develop their skills and fitness in a fun safe environment.

The sessions are fun, accessible and include coaching in running technique, pacing and endurance, at a level appropriate to the age of participants. Students may even wish to work towards a 2km or 5km running goal.

Local accredited running coach, Jim Poussard from Bayside Run Coaching, leads sessions. Jim has extensive experience in coaching running and athletics skills to primary aged children. For more information, please go to www.baysideruncoaching.com.au or contact Jim on 0450 379 810.

Fee
$105 per term. The fee apply for 8 sessions per term and will be added to your school fees.

Terms and Conditions

1. I understand also that the adequate care of personal belongings is the responsibility of each individual student.
2. Once tuition has begun, four lessons notice is required in writing by email to andrew.goodman@cornishcollege.vic.edu.au and accounts@cornishcollege.vic.edu.au to cancel the lessons. Students are still able to attend these four lessons. Verbal cancellation is not accepted and failure to cancel in writing will mean further fees being charged.
3. Re-enrolment is automatic from one term to the next, including from one year to the next.
4. The cost will be charged to your school fee account. An invoice will be sent by mail or email and payment is required by the start of the term.
5. Any student who has not been collected at the end of the after school lesson will be taken to after school care.
